Dear Mr. Carter,

I admire your courage in writing your latest book, "Palestine Peace Not Apartheid." This book could be the most important thing you have ever done if it causes major changes in the Middle East. I would like to see the Carter Center take an active role in getting Congress to cut aid to Israel and I would be willing to help in whatever way I can. I live in the Washington area and have time to help in lobbying efforts if the Carter Center wants to take this direction.

It would not be unreasonable to say that Israel is a racist country although I understand your reluctance to do so. However, it will take more pressure to embarrass Israelis (and their American supporters) to the point where they will change policies.
